Listed below are some inspirational prayers that have helped me throughout my life.  My  
mark and/or footprint in the world.

Prayers are free of charge and can be used as often as needed.

Thank you Prayer
Dear Lord

Thank you for giving me the strength and conviction to complete
the work you have entrusted me to do.

Thank you for guiding me straight in the narrow path I have taken.

Thank you for seeing me through the many obstacles along the
way and for keeping me focused when all around me seemed lost.

Thank you for your protection and for your many signs along the
way.

I thank you for any good that I might have done and please forgive
me for all the bad.

Thank you for the many friends i have made along this journey,
please watch over them as you have watched over me.

Inspiration before class
Inspirational prayer before a tournament
As I enter my Tae Kwon Do class, I ask you Lord to protect me
during my practice.

Please help me to retain the knowledge that is provided by you,
through my instructor and presented to me. Help me to keep
learning every day of my life, for all knowledge leads to you.

Let me be aware of your presence in all things and at all times.

Please encourage me when it gets tough and when I am tempted
to give up;

May your guiding light improve my skills to better my life in your
service.

Father, please send your Holy Angels to stand guard over me. I
pray that they will minister to me and remind me of your strength
and healing power.

Thank You Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.
 
With your guidance and love Lord, you have allowed me to test my
sparring talent in this tournament.

Lord God, please surround me with favor as with a shield.  Please
strengthen your wall of protection around me, keeping me safe
from all adversaries and all harm.  

Lord, please fill my thoughts with Your thoughts and let my words
be your words.  You are my strength, my shield and my defense.

If I am victorious, I thank You.  Please guide my actions so that I do
not gloat in spite.

If I am not victorious, I also thank You and ask that my experience
be a stepping stone for improving my life in your service.

Thank You, Lord, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Footsteps
One Night a man had a dream.

He dreamed he was walking along the beach with our Lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. He saw many
precious memories.  For each scene of his life, he noticed two
sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him and the other to
the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back
at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the
path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed
that this happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.

"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk
besides me throughout my life, but as i look back over my life, I've
noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is
only one set of footprints. I don't understand; why... when I needed
you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and
would never leave you. During your times of trial, tribulation and
suffering in your life; when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
